1965 Vintage Very Rare Canadian issue Barbie Perk Up Case Mint Unused Wow
Offered for sale is this Vintage & Very Rare 1965 Barbie "Perk Up Case" Canadian issued in Mint Unused Condition & issued 58 years ago in Canada by Mattel Canada. This case was issued in Canada for the much smaller Canadian market with about a 10th the production #s of the Usa issued Barbie products of that time thus sooo few examples have survived let alone in this Mint Condition!! This case was issued in the Usa a year earlier in 1964 in 3 colors, Black, Red & Blue by SPP & is stamped SPP in the lower left front. This Canadian version differs in the color of the graphics from the Usa versions & is stamped Mattel 1965 on the lower left front. Listed & pictured in one guide.. The Encyclopedia of Barbie Doll products on page 459 (As shown in my last pic) however it is incorrectly listed as a 1964 USA version as again it is %100 Canadian issued. This is a Rare one picked up here in Canada & in fact i have never come across another example in my years of collecting... A MUST for the Barbie collector that wants Top Condition & Rare!!
