TAG HEUER PVD Super Professional 1000M Dive Watch VERY RARE 840.006 Near Mint
The Super Professional was first introduced in 1984. In 1989, this version, model 840.006 in PVD, was made in a run of only 500 pieces for the American company Security Defense Systems. As you can see from the pictures, this watch is barely worn!
The PVD shows almost no use. The only area of notable wear is the bezel shows some scuffing on the high points of 10 and 20.
I suspect this watch was given to an employee or partner of Security Defense Systems in 1989, worn a few times, and put away for the next 30 years. It really is a time capsule. This is most likely the finest condition 840.006 in existence today.
