Una Dunhill Root Briar di una perfetta eleganza. Lo Shape è quello della Straight Rhodesian con la numerazione utilizzata fino agli anni 60, la "O" appunto che indicava la straight rhodesian nel catalogo fino agli anni 70. Già nel 1975 era entrata la numerazione e questa pipa avrebbe dovuto essere una 4117 ma, si sa, che negli anni 70 la Dunhill effettuata numerazioni degli shape non sempre uniformi e in questa pipa i maestri artigiani hanno voluto scegliere lo stamping "O" forse perché effettivamente ricorda molto le line delle dunhill degli anni 50 e 60.
Ricordiamo che negli anni 1975 76 e 77 il numero dell'anno non è sottolineato! La pipa presenta una radica stupenda, con un taglio cross grain che evidenzia una bellissima fiamma da un lato della testa e dall'altro tantissimi occhi di pernice che riempiono anche il rim e il fondo ella pipa. Un occasione per acquistare una Dunhill di altri tempi. Rimarrette sbalorditi quando la avrete in mano.

La pipa è in perfette condizioni, i marchi sono molto netti. Il fornello è in eccellenti condizioni, con una camera di combustione liscia, pulita e rotonda. La pipa è stata pulita, leggermente lucidata e igienizzata, pronta da fumare, ma consiglio comunque un'ulteriore pulizia secondo i vostri criteri personali. Le foto fanno parte della descrizione.

The Shape is a Straight Rhodesian with the numbering used up to the 60s, the "O" that indicated the Straight Rhodesian in the catalog up to the 60s. The numbering had already entered in 1970 and this pipe should have been a 4117 but, it is known that in the 70s Dunhill made numbering of shapes that were not always uniform and in this pipe the master craftsmen chose the "O" stamping, perhaps because it actually reminds a lot of the dunhill lines of the 50s and 60s. Remember that in the years 1975 76 e 77 the year number is not underlined!

The pipe has a wonderful briar , with a cross grain cut that highlights a beautiful flame on one side of the head and on the other side many bird-eyes that also fill the rim and the bottom of the pipe. You will be surprised as soon as it arrives at your home! The pipe is in PERFECT conditions. The marks are very sharp. The stove is in perfect condition, with a smooth, clean and round combustion chamber.
