This amazing, Yellow Ware figural handle pitcher was designed by John Abington for Ridgway circa 1850. It bears a striking resemblance to his earlier work for Phillips & Bagster, for whom he was employed decades earlier and produced very similar items. Featuring a relief hunting scene with a figural dog handle, this substantial piece has the Ridgway mark clearly embossed on the bottom. This pristine antique is in mint condition and has been meticulously maintained for nearly 200 years and should carefully placed to ensure that it will be in similar condition for a centuries to come.
