Very rare excellent/mint Orvis CFO II screwback fly reel, early 1970's model

It does not appear to have been fished. This is the much sought after early 1970's model with the distinguishing flat screw in the back that held the spindle.
Orvis started the CFO line of wonderful fly reels in 1971. Stan Bogdan supposedly designed the prototype with the innovative rim controlled free running spool. The first models were made by Hardy's in the United Kingdom. It is a truly modern classic, a little gem, that will enhance any serious Orvis collection.
However, it would perhaps appear even better along the stream attached to one of the fantastic short impregnated (de Luxe/ Flea/Superfine) bamboo rods Orvis produced during the 50's, 60's and 70's. The diameter measures 2 1/2. It can easily be set up for right or left handed use. It fits light fly lines size 1- 3/4 wt and comes with a leather pouch.
Why not take a chance to ad this rare piece of US/British angling history to your collection? You will not easily find another CFO II screwback in this outstanding condition!
