Monstera Adansonii Indonesian Mint is a variegated form of the popular Monstera Adansonii, a vining plant with oval leaves featuring a much more prominent large fenestrations looking more like an Obliqua. It is also called Indonesian Marble, due to its origins in the Indonesian plant market. Variegation due to mutation like this Monstera Adansonii Mint produces is rare, which is why such variegated plants are so highly desirable! The thrill a variegated houseplant brings to your life is unrivaled, since the variegation on every new leaf is a surprise.
The combination between silvery white, light-green, dark green, create a unique pattern among other variegated aroids. This is a very well established plant that had just unfurled his newest and largest leaf measuring at 9" long by 5" wide with another one on the way! The new leaves are emerging larger than the older ones and more variegated with multiple nodes, aerial roots and vine that is almost 2ft long!
Standing at 20 tall by 1ft wide. The variegations are consistent on every leaf with no signs of revertion. In fact, the newer leaves have a more pronounced variegations and are larger even without staking him on a moss pole. I just have him in my living room with the vine against the side of my east facing window without any extra humidity. Place in a medium to bright room away from direct sunlight, pot in an aroid mix and water when the top inch or 2 of soil feels dry.
