"Rose City Archery" Portland Oregon Yew Longbow 1930-40s. A very rare bow to find for yew collectors. Still has original Rose City Archery label on the limb, I doubt if you will ever find another in this condition.
Beautiful looking bow with lots of character, with black tip overlays and original leather handle. It has been strung and drawn back a few times to test and is in perfect solid condition.
During my research a very respectable archery expert told me he is confident that this bow was built by Homer "Pop's" Prouty. Famous bowyer and flight distance record holder.
